We have new baby chicks now. The four we have out back would have been fine with me but they aren't producing very many eggs anymore. Like maybe 2 or 3 a week. Not enough for us to even eat. I am buying eggs and have chickens...it doesn't make sense. If anyone has any idesa on how to get them to lay let me know. Annie Lindsay told me I have to get a rooster but I don't think the neighbors would like that. The chickens are bad enough. So, we bought 4 more chickens and we will see here in about 5 months if we can get some eggs. Ryan is the worst about this. He loves the chickens eggs and he says he loves watching the chickens in the back yard he says it's soothing like watching fish in a fish tank. Where does she come up with all these names for her chickens? She cracks me up. Yes, for our sanity please no rooster. We would have to sic Josy on it, we know how he likes those chickens.
