Yes Bailey signed up for FFA this year in a way to get out of a little school. She and her friend Morgan signed up to do a science project for the state convention. She and Morgan decided to do the project around what else...her chickens. We weighed and measured the eggs for a week with feeding them their normal food and then a week of adding peanuts to their diet to see if this would change the size and volume of the eggs. It did but only slightly. But we put together an awesome presentation and Morgan and Bailey took this to Cedar City to present it to the judges. The judges were very impressed and they came away with 1st place! Congratultions Girls. We are now on our way to the Nations in Indianapolis in October! Those chickens have done her good once again.

Nice work Bailey. Glad the chickens are being used for something other than food for your stupid neighbor dog. Congrats.
