Milestones...

It wasn't too long ago that I was complaining that I was getting, I swear a hundred drinks out of tap for my kids a day. Then came the wonderful day when we bought a new fridge with the water on the outside of the door. I thought I had it made.

I also remember the days of doing homework around the table after school and sitting down while they read to me each night. Now as of other things that too has gone away.

I could hardly wait until the day when my kids could drive. You know how it is to drive kids around everywhere, to their friends house, back up to the school to get the homework they left there, up to Kohlers to get a posterboard they forgot they needed in the morning. Now this milestone has came to pass as well with Dane, Cooper and soon Boone driving, no need for Mom again.

I never thought I would see the day when Dane walked across the stage and graduated from Lehi High School but he did! Yet, another milestone passed.

Now this next one was one that has come up on me fast and really I have thought of it but once it's here it really blows you away, Dane got his mission papers from the Bishop to start working on. I can't believe it but yet another great milestone is about to be passed.

Enjoy you kids and every milestone you pass, it won't be too long before they are gone.
