Well Dane had put in his mission papers and now the wait begins. We are told they would be here on the Friday after Thanksgiving but then we found out that President Lefler hadn't put the papers in late so now they should be here on Dec 3rd. They say they always come on a Wednesday. Manny called us on Sunday and let us know they are on their way, so even though everyone says they come on Wed we looked anxiously every day in the mailbox for the letter. But everyone was right they came on Wednesday. Dane waited until his friends and family could be about when he opened it so we waited until 8:00 that night to open it. Of
course we had all took guesses as to where he was going. Bailey thought South Korea, Cooper thought Georgia, and so forth. We it now came down to the minute and when Dane stood up to read his letter I was kinda in shock when he read "Oklahoma, Oklahoma City" mission. After all the excitement and probably the next day I finally realized that this was the perfect place for my boy to go. It's just up his alley out there in the country with the hicks. He will so relate with the people and not have the stress of learning a language or new culture. What a blessing this is and now the work begins getting him ready he leaves for the MTC on February 11th.
